ELEVEN Australia Permanent COLOUR launch

Welcome to ELEVEN Australia Permanent COLOUR

In this series of 4 short films, you will discover everything you need to know to get you started with the ELEVEN Australia Permanent COLOUR range.

Keeping with the simplicity of the brand ELEVEN Australia has developed a uniquely high-performing PERMANENT COLOUR RANGE, that is a streamlined portfolio, delivering and performing all salon colour services in a reliable, modern, results-driven way.

Here are you 11 must know’s before using the Permanent range

  1. Skin test clients 48 hours before the appointment and with both Colour cream and developer.
  2. Colour wheel, mixing ratios, timings and all your essential knowledge are all in your colour chart.
  3. All colours apart from the hi-lifts are intermixable.
  4. You can achieve 100% white hair coverage with 6%,9% & 12% Developers.
  5. Use Porosity equaliser spray on the hair before any colour application to even out the porosity of the hair, filling in any gaps in the hair, creating an even surface ensuring even pigment absorption.
  6. ELEVEN Australia COLOUR is identified by the International Numbering System. The 1-10 scale determines the depth, and how light or dark hair is. The second number / letter = 75% of the tone and the third number / letter = 25% of the tone.
  7. Naturals are specially developed to give up to 100% white hair coverage. The Natural Shades have a neutral tonal direction and the Natural Intensive shade 00 / NN will appear cooler and darker as they have a higher concentration of pigment. Refer to your technical book for mixing ratios to achieve white hair coverage.
  8. Our intensifiers allow you to customise your 1-10 series colour mix by adding the intensifiers to the colour formulation. Add up to 10cm of intensifier to a tube of colour.
  9. Using the ELEVEN Australia developers causes fewer sensitivities on the scalp as they are designed to chemically work together.
  10. Hi-lifts can be used with either 30 vol or 40vol depending on the level of lift desired. The mixing ratio is 1:2 and developed for 55 minutes.
  11. Always finish your colour with Colour Lock Spray, this closes the cuticle and allows better longevity of the colour. Do not rinse out and no need to use a conditioner.

Barrier Cream
Apply hairline and ears prior to the colour application.
BARRIER CREAM is a product made available as an optional step within the colouring service. It is applied directly to the skin surface to help maintain a physical barrier between the skin and hair, helping to prevent colour staining and any skin sensitivity.

The ELEVEN Australia COLOUR BARRIER CREAM will not prevent the colour from adhering to the hair.

Porosity Equaliser Spray
Before each colour service (permanent and demi applications), apply evenly to hair and do not rinse. After a LIGHTENING POWDER service, apply to wet hair before toning.

  • Evens out and treats porous and damaged areas of the hair before the colour service.
  • Highly recommended for overly porous or lightened hair.
  • The unique formula is enriched with an Amino Acid blend and 95.6% naturally derived ingredients.
  • Producing various benefits such as moisturising, strengthening hair structure, colour-protection and repairs surface damage to hair.

Colour Lock Spray
After shampooing, rinse the hair until the water runs clear. Towel dry and spray COLOUR LOCK SPRAY evenly from roots to ends, do not rinse out and do not apply conditioner.

COLOUR LOCK SPRAY completes every ELEVEN Australia COLOUR service.

  • Contains 92% naturally derived ingredients.
  • Specifically designed to close the cuticle.
  • Ensures maximum colour longevity, hydration and exceptional shine.
